Yachts Miami Beach 2016 Insights G Marine and Spanish ship builder, Astondoa, just returned from the 2016 Yachts Miami Beach where they debuted three new yacht models that depict three different stages of the current marine market: the Astondoa 52 Flybridge, the 80 Flybridge and the new 110 Century. The show was a success for G Marine, the exclusive Astondoa dealer for the Americas. The 52 Fly on display was sold, as was the 110 Century and two orders for the 80 GLX are currently under construction at the Santa Pola factory after its debut at the October 2015 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The first day of the show, international press, current owners, VIP clients, and prospective customers were received by Jesus Astondoa and treated to a night of cocktails, Spanish wines specialty tastings, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and music to celebrate Astondoa’s one hundred years of custom shipbuilding and introduce the new Astondoa 110 Century. The newest model designed to commemorate Astondoa’s 100 years drew accolades for its roomy, clean and bright décor and fashionably functional hull design, representing an outdoor lifestyle custom build. The 110 Century has plenty of state rooms, a galley and pantry that can feed an army and offer comfort on every level to take advantage of the salt air, sunshine, outdoor entertaining, and a party on every deck; its upper deck “Sky Lounge” provides indoor and outdoor options so weather is never an issue. The anniversary celebrations are scheduled to be continued in Spain this summer.
