Astondoa in Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2016 | 20.11.2016

Astondoa, the 100-year-old Spanish custom “Astilleros” that  won the Shipbuilder of the Year award at the Cannes Boat Show,  recently attended  the  57 annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The renowned shipyard  had four yachts on display, ranging from 65ft to 110 ft. In addition, two of them the sleek and modern 655 Coupe and family-friendly 65 Top Deck were making their American Premiere.   The brand new 655 Coupe, launched at the company’s anniversary celebration in Santa Pola  last summer,  with her  distinguishing inverted delta bow and  unique angular side windows,  attached a lot of attention.
Astondoa’s other new U.S. arrival,  the revamped 65 Top Deck   designed by Luiz de Bastos, also cached  the attention of international press and visitor with her expandable upper deck and swim platform. A truly “floating island” with room for all—and all their toys.
After the successful debut of its 80 Flybridge  at last year’s FLIBS show, Astondoa returned with a totally new 80 Flybridge yacht. The differences between each model demonstrated Astondoa’s dedication to creating truly bespoke yachts that reflect the boating preferences and personal style of each owner. This 2016 model generated great interest with her  roomy, reconfigured flybridge and warm  interiors. Finally, following its successful introduction at the Miami International Boat Show, The Century 110  returned as its impressive size and styling created considerable stir and interest. Bright interiors designed by the renowned Italian Designer Cristiano Gatto, complement the outdoor lifestyle exterior lines, including the Sky Lounge, voluminous sun pads, and PWC garage.
G Marine – Astondoa’s exclusive dealer for the Americas – reported that despite less than ideal weather conditions for South Florida, the mood was buoyant and they saw  an increased interest in larger yachts, including a planned Astondoa 90 GLX, that meets a mid-range budget.
